Hyperstealth Biotechnology of Canada is a known name in the field of orthodox camouflage military uniforms, but they are now all set to unleash the magic.
The company has just patented a “Quantum Stealth” material that instead of camouflaging, will now totally vanish a soldier or even the larger equipments like tanks, aircrafts, ships etc, by making anything behind it seem invisible.
Back in October, Hyperstealth filed a patent for the game changing material, which doesn’t require any power source and on top of it, it is paper thin and inexpensive. All these features make it ideal for battlefield use.
According to the company, it works by bending the light around a target to make it seemingly disappear. This light can be in the visible spectrum, or it can be ultraviolet, infrared, or shortwave infrared light, making the material what Hyperstealth calls “Broadband Invisibility Cloak”
Ready For Action
Along with the press release Hyperstealth also released over a 100 minutes of footage to describe and demonstrate the material, the videos cement the fact that the company’s targeted market is militaries around the world.
In the videos Hyperstealth shows how to hide a scaled model of a tank. In another it makes a model jet invisible with its new “Quantom Stealth” cloak.
As the Hyperstealth has reached the patenting stage, it should now soon be looking towards orders from interested militaries.
